Love, War, Sport & Roller Skates Project

Christine Eid receives seed funding for the Love, War, Sport & Roller Skates: the extraordinary story of the Beyers (working title) project from the City of Melbourne’s 2017 annual arts grant program.

This book project will offer an intimate look at a prominent early 20th century family in the rollerskating and sporting arena who were an integral part of the entertainment and amusement life of Melbourne.
