Combining whimsical live performance, rare archival footage and evocative soundscape, the Rinking performance in the Red Rotunda at the State Library Victoria reveals tantalising glimpses into the story of the Beyer family. The full story is yet to be revealed, as it’s part of a long-term book project.

Rinking brings new life to the stories behind the State Library’s Dan Clifton Collection. Following the performance, a small selection of items from the collection is on display.

About the creators

Christine Eid’s research, curatorial and interdisciplinary arts practice TOW undertakes projects that embrace discovery, creative curiosity and greater understanding through storytelling.

Laurence Billiet’s production company GENERAL STRIKE produces content and events that engage curiosity, challenge preconceptions and inspire action.
